Trial lesson. The trial lesson gives you a chance to experience my teaching-coaching style and decide if you would like to continue with more lessons. If you choose to continue, we will create a syllabus outlining topics, skills, and a schedule for future lessons.
My methodology. My teaching and coaching methodology is designed to make learning Spanish both effective and enjoyable. It involves:
- Communicative activities. We practise listening, speaking, reading, and writing in real-world contexts so you can develop confidence in authentic communication from the very beginning.
- Personalised language learning. I tailor lesson content, materials, activities, and pacing to match your individual goals, interests, and learning style.
- Accelerated learning techniques. I incorporate evidence-based techniques such as active recall, multisensory learning, immediate feedback, and interleaving to support faster and deeper learning.
- Structured and systematic learning. I use a clear, structured approach to developing vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation. Each lesson builds on prior learning, ensuring steady, lasting progress.
- Language learning strategies. Beyond teaching Spanish, I help you become a more effective and confident language learner by introducing practical strategies you can use to learn outside the lessons.
Learning resources. I create personalised lesson materials and recommend useful free online tools and other high-quality learning resources to support your progress. I also guide you in using AI tools to practise Spanish effectively and make the most of your self-study time.
Lesson structure. A typical lesson includes 60 minutes focused on developing your Spanish skills, followed by 10–15 minutes to explore learning strategies and practical activities to help you consolidate and reinforce the lesson content outside of class.
Price. As a highly qualified and experienced language teacher and coach, I provide excellent value for money, combining expert guidance with excellent results and a positive learning experience for my students. A trial lesson costs £35, and lesson packages are priced flexibly according to the number of sessions booked.
