¡Hola! Welcome to my website! My  name is María Blanco. I am a Senior Lecturer in Spanish, language learning strategies coach, teacher trainer, and author of How to Learn Spanish and How to Teach Language Learning Strategies.

I help students to develop strategies that will enable them to enjoy learning languages more and to achieve better performance in speaking, listening, writing and reading. I also teach Spanish online to beginner and intermediate levels, using a highly effective teaching approach. 

In addition, I train language teachers and coaches in how to introduce effective language learning strategies into their language lessons so that their students become more skilful and confident independent language learners.
